Jared Paul “$8 Smoothie” VIDEO

Providence, RI’s Jared Paul comes correct with this anthem track/video about over-priced smoothies. He views the high cost as a symbol of gentrification in the capital city and would rather “kiss a white cop’s boot live on Fox News” than pay that much for something he can make himself at home.

The song is off his new album Get My Ghost (on Black Box TapesSole‘s new record label) which can be listened to and purchased on Bandcamp.

Get My Ghost is produced by Sacramento engineer & multi-instrumentalist, Tommy Fox. Fox utilizes antique vinyl, analog synthesizers and one MPC to create the record’s dense soundscape. Also it’s not just a Hip Hop album – it’s a documentation of the modern American revolutionary movement, from someone who’s been on the front-lines for over a decade.
