Eddie loved music from an early age and his early influences included 50 Cent. Eddie started writing his own music as a teenager and in the mid 2000’s performed his own music in club venues in New York City. The pressures of making a living and some periods of incarceration hindered Eddie’s pursuit of a career in music until he was introduced toMansion Records in late 2013. Mansion Records, impressed by Eddie’s voice, music and also the depth of the lyrics/stories running through his songs, provided him with studio time where he wrote and recorded 10 original soul/hip hop songs. Six of these songs are currently being prepared for a mixtape release in early spring, 2015. Eddie’s new collection of songs tell the story of life in the Woodside project, on the streets of NYC and in jail with a strong current that reflects his view of the importance of family and friends. While, his album is going through its final production phase, Eddie has commenced playing in NYC clubs. Eddie’s first major show since aligning with Mansion Records was held at the Apollo Soundstage on August 22, 2014 where he showcased his new music as well as some old tracks to a sell-out crowd.
